The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
