Recently, 2K president David Ismailer updated employees about this strategic move through an internal memo, which highlighted that playtesting had indicated the necessity for a clearer game identity.
Ismailer stated that the developers is now refining Project Ethos with a renewed vision, aiming to better meet player expectations.

The news echoes a comparable move taken by 2K Games in August, when they brought on an industry veteran from the Diablo team to contribute to the beloved franchise studio Cloud Chamber.
